Karen Buetens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADC1). She graduated from Portland State University in 1989 with a Masters Degree in Social Work and obtained her independent license in 1992. Karen received a certificate in Cognitive Behavior Therapy from the BU School of Social Work. She provides individual, family, couples and group psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. She has specialty training in substance abuse, learning disabilities including child and adult ADD and ADHD, PDD and complex child and adolescent issues. Contact Karen at extension 15.

Emily Case graduated from Simmons College in 2003 and received her independent license (LICSW) in 2005. Emily treats children, adolescents and adults. She has specialized training in providing family therapy. Emily has a special interest in assisting young people in transition. Contact Emily at extension 25.

Julie Glovin is a 1999 graduate of Boston University School of Social Work with a specialty in clinical practice. She received her independent license in 2004 and has expertise in cognitive behavioral treatment for anxiety and depressive disorders. She specializes in children and adolescents and has a specialty in juvenile diabetes, and other health issues including fertility difficulties, post-partum and new mother concerns. Deborah Herzog received her Masters in Social Work from Simmons College in 1978 and obtained her independent license in 1984. She provides individual, couple and family therapy. Her areas of specialty include the treatment of eating disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, issues of medical illness and aging, relationship problems, and adults who have been impacted by childhood abuse and neglect. Helen Hiam is a 1974 graduate of the Simmons School of Social Work and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW.) Helen has specialty training in eating disorders and in providing child and adolescent therapy. In addition to treating depression and anxiety, Helen is an experienced provider of couples therapy. Michael Hursh graduated from Simmons College with a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2002. He obtained his independent license (LICSW) in 2006. Mike has expertise in the areas of childhood trauma, anger and stress management, relationship problems, and boys/men's issues. Mike provides individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Mike can be reached at extension 17.

Beverley (Bee) Jouett is a 1997 graduate from Salem State College School of Social Work and obtained her independent license (LICSW) in 1999. She is certified in EMDR and trained in DBT. Bee has experience working with the GLBT population. Her expertise includes treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, loss and grief, and substance abuse. Meg MacPherson Matthews received her Masters of Social Work degree from Boston University in 1999 and obtained her independent license (LICSW) in 2002. Meg provides individual, family, and group therapy for children, adolescents and young adults. She has expertise and specializes in treating anxiety and depression, adolescent substance abuse and related risk behaviors, and adolescent girls' issues. Sarah Mitchell Evans is a 2000 graduate of Salem State School of Social Work.  Sarah received her independent license (LICSW) in 2002 and is a certified in Mediation and Family Therapy. In addition to her specialty in treating children and adolescents, Sarah has expertise in treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, foster care and adoption issues. Ann Odessey graduated from Simmons School of Social Work and received her independent license in 1996. She provides individual, couples and family therapy, and has extensive training in working with couples in crisis as well as families impacted by mental illness. Other areas of specialty include treatment for anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. Shanthi Patnaik graduated in 1995 with a Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. She has been practicing as a Licensed Independent Clinical Worker (LICSW) since 1998. She has several years experience working with adults, children and adolescents around life transitions, mood disorders and ADD/ADHD. Her treatment modalities are varied and include cognitive behavioral therapy. Lenore Pollen is a 1979 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social work. She holds a certificate in Gerontology through the University of Michigan Institute of Gerontology. She obtained her independent license (LICSW) in 1981. Lenore has specialized training in using DBT based methods, adult and group psychotherapy, couples, families, chronic mental illness, trauma and PTSD. Contact Lenore at extension 13.

Jana Sax received her graduate degree from Boston University School of Social Work in 1980, her Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work license (LICSW) in 1982, and her certification in Family and Couples Therapy from the Cambridge Family Counseling Institute in 1983. Jana has expertise in the areas of mediation/negotiation and grief and loss therapy. In addition, Jana has experience treating depression, anxiety and related concerns for which she uses both CBT and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Mary Wisniewski graduated from Boston College in 1980 and obtained her independent license in 1985. Her practice focuses on child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy. She specializes in the treatment of bipolar illness, recovery from sexual and violent abuse, cognitive therapy for anxiety disorders, developmental and learning disabilities, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum, and parenting strategies for helping intense children.
